Peaceful Moment.
I’m so close to being finished with this Scratchboard piece that I’m going ahead and sharing it with you. This technique was new to me and I really enjoyed it. I just might be doing some more of these! You can add color with inks as well, but for now, I’m liking the black and white. I hope you like it. The photo reference is from Paul Fine. I chose this reference because I loved the tranquil moment as this big, fearsome cat pauses to drink.
A Piece Takes Shape.
I’m giving scratchboard a try. I’m using a fabulous photo from Paul Fine, with permission. This is my first go at this, so no guarantee as to the finished piece. It’s fun, though, and very transportable. I’ll keep you posted as I progress.
Making Strides.
Making a bit of progress on this. It’s different, but lots of fun. I’m working on this while waiting for some art supplies to be delivered. Things are taking a while these days.
